New York Times Web Site Carrying Ephedra Ads

The New York Times has been running a series of commendable articles on the dangers of ephedra use.

So today, when I wanted to look over those articles, I went to the Times web site and typed “ephedra” into their search engine. Boy was I surprised to see this result. (Note that the first of the “Sponsored Links” is an ad to buy Ephedra.)

Suggestion: The Times should put its money where its mouth is and reject these ads for what numerous articles (including those in the Times) have shown is an all-too-dangerous drug.

UPDATE: They pulled the ads, as well as all of their sponsored ads. See above post. (I tried to post about this new development several hours ago, but the Blogger engine has been acting up today, and it didn’t show up till just now).
