Seeking for Righteousness

The Personal Blog of Kaimi Wenger

This weekend

This weekend was a complicated exercise in co-ordination.

Saturday was kind of slow, actually.  Kid-watching while M. was at her class.  Putting together Oakland talk.  Helping McHughs move.  (Still need to follow up on that.)  A barbeque at M.’s friends, which was fun.

Sunday was insane.  Got the kids ready and to church at 9 (M. was there early for Ward Council); played organ; ditched Sunday School to find M. some breakfast; taught EQ; got home by 12:30ish; printed up a big stack of papers for my talk; dashed off to the airport at 1, got there at 1:30; realized that I accidentally grabbed M.’s cell phone (oops); flight at 3:30; pickup by Greg at 5 in SF; drive to Walnut Hills in insane traffic; arrived at 6:45; made copies of handout quickly; fireside started at 7; I talked till 8:40 (and I didn’t even finish!); refreshments with the JRCLS folks; dinner at MJ’s house at 9:30 or 10 or so, and then discussing blogging with him and his kids and niece, until 11:30; and then over to Greg’s house to crash; and then up at 6 to catch an 8:30 flight back, which then sat on the tarmac for an extra hour because of San Diego fog.

Run run run.  All day.

Monday went more slowly.  I caught up some on sleep.

I’ll blog the Oakland talk later.
