Photo of the day

It’s late and I’m tired, and there are still technical problems uploading pictures — so, this is going to be an easy one. It’s a picture of the sunset, as reflected half in the car window. It was taken as we drove back from our anniversary trip, across the desert from California to Arizona to pick up the kids. I saw the sunset in the mirror, and I had to try to take a picture. I tried shooting it at a few angles in the mirror, and it didn’t look nearly as good. So, I strapped the camera on tight to my hand — my dad’s camera, on loan! — and stuck it out the window, at 65 mph, and snapped the picture. And I think it turned out just about perfect. 🙂

(This one also has great colors for a header swatch or two, I think. I’m going to try that when I have a moment.)
